Who is Taffy & Co.
Taffy was my little 11 year old tabby cat that I lost in October 2024. I have dedicated this business to his memory and also to Misty, Furbie, little 8 month old Holly, Cocoa and my dad. This is for you all. 

Do you offer local collection or delivery?
Yes, if you live in or around Hadfield, Glossop, there is an option at the checkout to either collect for free or have your order delivered for a small charge. Y

How much is shipping?
I do try to keep shipping (including packaging and time) costs realistic and as low as I possibly can.
Shipping anywhere in the UK is by Evri next day (on dispatch) delivery or Royal Mail - 
Evri next day shipping for anything up to 200gms - £3.75 (ideal for single item purchases)
Royal Mail first class is £5.50 up to 2kg and £7.50 for 2-5kg
Royal Mail second class is £4.50 up to 2kg and £6.50 for 2-5kg

Weight will be automatically calculated at the checkout for UK orders. 

International orders - I don't add shipping for this at the checkout however If I feel that I can realistically ship to you and the products will get there in good condition (ie, weather conditions), please do contact me to discuss.

Is everything vegan?
Yes, all products come from a fully vegan and GF household. The only exception is the Biscoff Crunch bar which is not GF or SF. 

What is the shelf life of the chocolate?
All Taffy & Co. chocolate will last for around 12 months, but of course it won't be around for that long :-) 

How should I store your products?
Storing your chocolate in the fridge will keep it better. Take it out around 30 minutes before eating for best results. 

How long will my order take to ship?
As a sole trader of a small cottage business, I do everything from creating, wrapping, packing, labelling, shopping, shipping and everything in between myself, therefore orders could take up to 10 workings days to ship depending on how many orders I have. In quieter times I endeavour to complete orders within a few working days . Once shipped, your order will normally be with you the next working day via your Evri courier or between 1-5 days if by Royal Mail.  

Refunds and Replacements
Thankfully this situation is a rarity in my business, as most customers are very happy with their purchase, however every so often something happens that is beyond my control. In this situation, I (as the business owner) will make the decision whether a refund or replacement is appropriate. After assessing the situation, sometimes neither will be due. Whilst I understand this will never be a popular situation, I have to maintain and protect my small business. I will always liaise with the customer to obtain all the facts, whilst also doing my own background checks to cover all angles. I will always try to be fair and totally honest in coming to a final decision. If a full or partial refund is offered, this will not include shipping costs.
